A cross-wrist ride is a top control where you grab your opponent’s wrist and pull it across their body. This keeps them flat on the mat and limits their movement. It makes it hard for them to stand up or escape. You stay behind them while controlling the arm. This position can lead to turns for back points. For example, a wrestler pulls the bottom wrestler’s wrist across and keeps pressure forward. The opponent cannot build a base to stand. The referee continues the ride. Strong wrist control keeps your opponent trapped.
