Bottle Pool Meaning in Billiards

Bottle pool is a unique billiards game played with a small, narrow-necked bottle called a shake bottle. The goal is to score points by knocking over the bottle or hitting specific balls in a certain order. The bottle is placed upside down on the table, and players must be extremely delicate to achieve their goals. It is a game of high finesse and unusual physics compared to standard pocket billiards. Points are awarded for various caroms and for successfully toppling the bottle with the cue ball. For example, a player scores a point by caroming the cue ball off an object ball to tip over the bottle. This game is a great way to practice extreme control and delicate touch on the felt. It is a classic ‘novelty’ game that has a loyal following in traditional pool halls.
