An extension handle is an extra piece that screws into the back of a cue to make it longer. It is used for shots where the cue ball is in the middle of the table and too far to reach with a standard grip. Using a handle is often more stable and comfortable than using a bridge stick (the rake). For example, a player attaches their extension handle to reach a tricky shot over the long rail without overstretching. This allows them to maintain a natural stroking motion and better accuracy. It is an essential accessory for players who want to handle every situation on a full-sized table.
