Flow is the feeling of moving smoothly and effortlessly through a trail or road. In mountain biking, a “flow trail” is designed with banked turns and rolling hills to keep your momentum high. When you have flow, you are not braking or pedaling excessively; you are simply gliding. It is a mental state where you feel perfectly in sync with your bicycle and the terrain.
