Technical Suit Meaning in Swimming

A technical suit is a high-performance racing swimsuit designed to reduce drag and compress muscles. These suits are made from advanced water-repellent fabrics and often feature bonded seams instead of stitching. They help swimmers maintain a better body position and glide further through the water. A swimmer puts on their tight technical suit for the state championship finals. Because they are expensive and delicate, athletes usually save them only for their most important races. These suits are so tight that they can take up to twenty minutes to put on properly.
