Falling Meaning in Dodgeball, refers to the act of a player intentionally or accidentally hitting the floor during a game. Players often drop to the ground to dodge low-speed throws or to regain their physical balance. Official rules state that a player is out if they touch out of bounds while falling down. Maintaining control of held balls during a fall is vital to remaining active in the match. An athlete falls onto their side to let a fast ball fly safely over their head. Staying low to the ground reduces the target area and makes it harder for opponents to score hits.
