High-Low Attack Meaning in Dodgeball

A high-low attack involves two teammates throwing balls at different heights simultaneously. One player aims for the feet while the other targets the chest area. A defender ducks under the first ball but gets hit by the second. This combination makes it nearly impossible to dodge both incoming threats at once. Success requires perfect timing between the two throwers to maximize the defensive confusion. This strategy is one of the most effective ways to eliminate skilled players. Teams practice this coordination to break through even the most stubborn defensive lines. Using different ball speeds also adds another layer of difficulty for the opponents.
