A back arch is when a wrestler bends their back in a bridge shape to lift or throw an opponent. It creates power and helps expose the opponent’s back. This movement is common in big throws. Strong core and balance are needed to do it safely.
Example: A wrestler arches his back during a throw and lifts his opponent high before bringing him down. The move leads to scoring points.
