Court balance refers to the equal distribution of space between two partners on a pickleball court side. This concept ensures that both players cover their assigned areas without leaving any large open gaps. Maintaining a good distance from a partner makes it difficult for opponents to find an opening. Two teammates move left and right together as if a rope connects their two bodies. This synchronized movement prevents both players from running toward the same ball at the same time. Proper spacing is the foundation of a strong defense against even the most aggressive attacking teams.
