That limits their ability to sprawl. Control continues even after they hit the mat. For example, a wrestler shoots low and runs through the opponent. The referee signals two points for the takedown. This move works well against upright opponents. It requires commitment and confidence. Hesitation often leads to counters. Proper setup increases your success rate.
