A five-point throw is a high-scoring move where a wrestler throws an opponent from their feet directly to their back with control. The opponent’s back is exposed in a big motion. It is one of the highest-scoring actions in certain styles. Control and clear exposure are required.
Example: A wrestler hits a powerful throw, and the opponent lands flat on his back. The referee awards five points.
