A golden set happens when a player wins a set without losing a single point. The score becomes 6-0, and every game is won at love. This means the player wins 24 straight points. It is extremely rare in competitive tennis. The player must serve and return perfectly. Any lost point would prevent it. For example, a player dominates every rally and serve. The opponent fails to win even one point. The set ends 6-0 with no points conceded. That is a golden set.
