Kamikaze Meaning in Dodgeball

A kamikaze is a high-risk move where a player sprints toward the opponent’s. This aggressive tactic involves crossing the midline to throw a ball at close range. A player runs and jumps over the center line while releasing the ball. The player is automatically out as soon as they touch the other side. This move is used to eliminate a key opponent at the very end. The sacrifice is only worth it if the throw actually hits the target. Most leagues limit how and when a player can perform this daring action. It remains a dramatic way to change the momentum of a close match.
