Leg spin is a style of bowling where a right-handed player uses their wrist to make the ball turn from the leg side toward the off side. When the ball hits the pitch, it changes direction sharply, making it very difficult for the batter to hit cleanly.
Example: The leg spin specialist confused the batter with a delivery that bounced and turned away to hit the off stump.
Pro-Tip: Legendary leg spinners often use a ‘flippers’ or ‘googlies’ to keep the batter guessing about which way the ball will turn.
