A love game happens when a player wins a game without losing a single point. The opponent scores zero points in that game. This means the final point score reaches 40-love before the winning point. It shows complete control during that service or return game. Love games often occur with strong serving or sharp returns. They build quick momentum. For example, a server hits four strong serves in a row. The opponent cannot return any effectively. The game ends without the opponent scoring. That result is a love game.
