A low feed is a fast pass directed toward the lower body of a teammate. This pass travels on a flat trajectory or as a bounce pass near the ground. Attackers use this technique to move the ball underneath the long arms of tall defenders. It requires the receiver to bend their knees and stay low to catch the ball. A wing attack sends a low feed to a shooter cutting across the goal circle. This strategy is very effective when the defender expects a high lob over their head. Fast wrist movement ensures the ball reaches the target before the defense can react. One real-world example shows a player catching a sharp pass at ankle height.
