Out of bounds refers to any area located outside the designated boundary lines of the court. A player is eliminated from the game if any part of their body touches these lines. A defender accidentally steps on the side tape while trying to dodge a fast ball. This rule keeps all participants within the field of play to ensure a fair match. Balls that travel out of bounds become dead and must be returned to the court. Players must maintain constant awareness of their feet while moving near the edges of the floor. Staying inside the boundary is just as important as avoiding hits from the opposing team. This spatial constraint forces athletes to stay focused and controlled during high speed lateral movements.
