Uchi-Mata-Sukashi is a slipping counter technique used against an inner thigh throw. The defender anticipates the attack and avoids the lifting leg of the attacker. By stepping aside, the defender lets the attacker fall by their own momentum. A quick push to the back of the attacker ensures the fall. One game example shows a player scoring after dodging a large throw attempt. This move requires the player to have excellent timing and very fast feet. Success depends on the ability to move before the lifting leg makes contact. Strategy involves staying light and mobile to avoid being caught by the sweep. This technique demonstrates the principle of using the energy of the opponent. It allows a player to win without using much physical strength.
